Attire: PE-attire & sports shoes

dear teammo

hey teammates ((:!

im feeling so tired and burnt out and lousy after today's training!
i wonder how you guys are feeling!

well i was just thinking. about the year ahead.. we've got touch, a levels, and other commitments (council maybe, church maybe, friendships maybe, boy friends maybe, like i dunno.. haha!) to work for. and just how much effort are we willing to put into each/whether we are able to sustain our efforts and energy in each, is a big question mark.


well, obviously we can't do 100% in each.

that would be superb, but inhuman.

and i do feel overwhelmed with such big tasks ahead of me that im so afraid to face it. but i take comfort in afew facts:
1. i've got you guys! so im not alone!
2. things will be okay if i were to take one step at a time (i hope! haha).

like punching up, we always take it one touch at a time to gain ground.



okay maybe that was a bad analogy haha.

alright you guys must be wondering why im blogging this! i just really wanna share my personal wish for us..

we probably have our reservations and as we're all different, we probably have different priorities.

but since this is our last year, i really hope we can make this thing in common that we have, TOUCH, and TOUCH BATCH 09 TO BE EXACT, something we'll all be fond of when we look back when we all graduate.. have a job.. work at a big mnc... become an mp... marry have kids.. grow old.. , etc.. hahahaha okay you get the idea.

so even though at training, we have to focus and be serious at improving ourselves, i hope we can all remember to laugh and remember we're playing with our teammates, our friends for -insert how mnay years- who are none other than human beings like ourselves... we are totally not playing with robots of our personal ideals.

taking into account that, let's all just try our best shall we? if we only have 100% to give, and we only can manage a 60%, 60% multiplied by so many of us would be more than 100%. and then other peoples' 60% can influence my 60% and in the end by complementing, we would get 100% and more than that. ALRIGHT NOT MAKING SNESE? i just wanna say.. as long as we are a team, and we work for our common goal, the results would be fulfilling, and most importantly, without regrets.

i don't know if what im saying will have any impact at all... i figured it was worth a try anyway.
so yeah! that was my personal wish for touch!

i believe that when one tries her best, and faces his/her fears, he/she can go beyond what he/she initially thought he/she could do.

like in the beginning of last year, i just looked at the track and i was like 'i can't imagine myself doing this.' but then look at me now. the field and the mud is like my physical home, and you guys are my emotional pillars. hahaha.

and bedyond myself, let's take a lookd at ourselves. look at how much we've grown thus far, (more muscular, tanner, rugged, emotionally stronger etc) from the innocent and extremely 'raw' players we were last year. okay maybe we aint that novice or whatever now anyway, but talking relativity la, yeah.

the mountain top (our goals) might look very unreachable, but hey, as long as we've got one another to depend on, and we believe in ourselves and each other,
we will reach where we wanna go,
and having lots of fun along the way! ((:

so really.. even though we may fall.. cling onto our hope, never give up alright!

Sooooo I was surfing the net, and look what I found!

Stamina

Junk food may make one feel replenished and full of energy after the meal, but in actual fact, the consumption of junk food will highly affect one's stamina. Instead of consuming junk food, pick rather a healthier diet of fruit and vegetables, which helps to improve stamina in the long run.

!!

I thought junk food only made us fat. haha. ohhh well. no wonder the canoeists eat at the yong tau foo stall everyday. hahaha.
